How much advanced notice does NEP need in order to put a vote/survey together?

At least one week preferably, but the more heads up, the better.

What information does NEP need in order to put a vote/survey together?
  • Title of vote/survey
  • Timeframe (date/time to open and close)
  • Verbiage to include
  • Response variables (yes/no, multiple choice, fill in the blank, etc.)
  • Contact email to include for questions
  • User group/list of members to receive the vote/survey
How will I receive the results of a vote/survey after it closes?

An NEP rep will contact you via email at the conclusion of a vote/survey with the official results.

Is there a way to monitor the responses to a vote/survey while it's open?

Yes, NEP can provide a link for admins to monitor responses.

What should I do if a member is saying they can't find a vote/survey in their email inbox?

Have them check their SPAM folder, as well as do a search of their inbox for the email address from which the vote/survey was sent. It's also possible they may have previously opted out, in which case they will need to opt back in.
